PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY

Eileen is a weekly columnist for the Williamson Sun & Record, with the byline STORIES FROM THE LAKE.  From her backyard of Lake Ontario Eileen offers her perspective of life on the lake, sharing thoughts about family, raising six children and anything else that floats her way.  A guest on various radio and tv stations, she has just returned from a book tour in New York City.

A public speaker, Eileen is often a guest at various schools, colleges and libraries.  Eileen contributes periodically to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, The Wayne County Star and the Palmyra Courier Journal.   She also wrote the history of homes detailed in a book for the first annual Historic Homes of Pultneyville tour for the Pultneyville Historical Society.  Her latest project is for the Pultneyville Fire Company, writing a book detailing the history of the eighty year old volunteer fire department.    She is an avid photographer, animal lover, gourmet cook and voracious reader.    Eileen has been known to do standup comedy from time to time with her husband, comedian Steve "The Nuclear Guy." www.stevethenuclearguy.com.

Often described as a cross between Erma Bombeck and Jimmy Breslin, she is now mother to three Labradors and one debonair cat who sit and watch her write as she shares her thoughts about people in general and life on the lake. She is very happy to be there.
